Case Study: Regional/Publicly Traded Bank achieves portfolio optimization and real estate expense savings with Cresa

A Cresa Case Study

Preview of the Regional/Publicly Traded Bank Case Study

Optimizing a Corporate Real Estate Portfolio Through Collaboration, Partnership and Value-Added Expertise

Regional/Publicly Traded Bank engaged Cresa in Portland to strengthen its corporate real estate function and optimize a dispersed portfolio across the financial services business. The bank sought tenant representation and consulting support, plus transaction management, to elevate its internal CRE team into a strategic partner for business leaders and identify consolidation, optimization and cost‑saving opportunities.

Cresa established a collaborative partnership to provide complementary resources, expertise and tactical implementation, negotiating the disposition of approximately 30 underutilized assets within the first nine months and initiating work on roughly 45 active projects (renewals, expansions, consolidations, disposals and new locations). As a result, Cresa returned capital to the organization, aligned the overall real estate portfolio and delivered measurable expense mitigation and savings opportunities for the client.
