Halt, a Dutch foundation that organizes short-term interventions to prevent and punish juvenile crime, faced a national restructuring that required buying out leases, opening dozens of new satellite locations and three administrative offices, and aligning property decisions with a new organizational strategy. Cresa supported Halt from 2013 onward, providing Transaction Management, Location Strategy & Economic Incentives and Consulting to manage the complex roll‑out across the Netherlands (primary location: Eindhoven).

Cresa implemented a portfolio management approach that delivered a holistic view of locations and lease contracts, a single point of contact for multiple sites, and a future-facing real estate plan tailored to Halt’s objectives. The engagement covered roughly 4,645 square metres and the leasing transactions for dozens of satellite locations and administrative offices, resulting in a consolidated portfolio that directly matches Halt’s operational needs.
