Universal Technical Institute engaged Cresa to help open a new North Jersey technical school. Using Cresa’s Transaction Management services, UTI asked Cresa to analyze North Jersey markets, identify mixed‑use buildings that could accommodate administration, educational training and garage technician experience, and negotiate a transaction that met cost targets and was completed in time for the start of the school year.
Cresa identified and secured a 101,967 sq. ft. mixed‑use building ideally positioned between competitors, partners and prospective students. Cresa’s transaction management team negotiated terms below budget and closed the deal in time for Universal Technical Institute to open the new North Jersey campus on schedule.
