Panera partnered with Cresa for transaction management and consulting support as the company outgrew its existing secondary locations. Panera needed help finding a headquarters that could bring all corporate functions into one building while meeting strict requirements around space, location, image, culture, parking density, and occupancy budget.
Cresa led an extensive search, competitive RFP process, and detailed financial analysis to identify a building that met Panera’s criteria. Cresa also negotiated with the landlord and sublandlord to resolve an early lease termination issue, ultimately helping Panera secure a 116,227 sq. ft. headquarters through a 132-month lease.
