A Cresa Case Study
Deep Blue Communications, a fast‑growing WiFi and telecommunications firm recently acquired by Comcast, needed to consolidate and expand its fractured, inefficient office footprint to support rapid growth. With no adjacent space remaining and an urgent need to re‑strategize its workplace, Deep Blue engaged Cresa for Transaction Management to find and secure a new headquarters.
Cresa conducted a space programming exercise, performed a market survey, led property tours, requested and leveled competing lease proposals, and guided Deep Blue to a 20,285 sq. ft. build‑out in downtown Troy, NY. By managing the selection and negotiation process, Cresa enabled Deep Blue to consolidate operations, secure the needed growth space, and move forward with expansion—resulting in a 20,285 sq. ft. leased space that met the company’s requirements.
