A Cresa Case Study
CPA Alberta engaged Cresa to develop a multi‑city relocation strategy after the merger of Alberta’s accounting designations into the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta. Facing the need to combine offices and express the new brand across Edmonton and Calgary, CPA Alberta required Transaction Management and Project Management to find appropriately sized, branded space and execute identical build‑outs in Calgary’s 444 Seventh and Edmonton’s TD Tower.
Cresa negotiated with multiple landlords to secure 13,650 sq. ft. across both locations, negotiated substantial inducements that covered capital construction and design costs, and obtained rent subsidies on the TD Tower lease. Cresa also managed subleasing of the prior Edmonton site, mitigating 89% of that lease obligation to date, and delivered contemporary, functional work environments—achieving strong economic value and brand consistency for CPA Alberta.
