Arval, part of the BNP Paribas Group, engaged Cresa to renegotiate the lease and reduce housing costs for its 5,050 m² head office in Houten (Utrecht). Arval’s goals included lowering rental expense, improving building quality and sustainability, and securing market‑conform lease conditions; Cresa provided Transaction Management, Facilities Management and Workplace Intelligence to lead the process.

Cresa negotiated a new market‑rate lease that reduced rental costs, delivered qualitative upgrades to building systems (including the climate system), and managed installation of 550 rooftop solar panels producing about 120,000 kWh per year. The combined actions improved Arval’s workplace quality, cut occupancy costs and significantly increased the site’s sustainability.
