Arranging a 25,000 sq ft Expansion

Collibra, a Belgian-based multinational data governance firm, needed to expand its New York footprint to accommodate rapid U.S. growth. Cresa’s New York office, working with Cresa Consulting Group Services, was engaged to evaluate relocation versus in-place expansion and to arrange a 25,000 RSF expansion at 61 Broadway that would increase Collibra’s overall footprint to 38,000 square feet.

Cresa delivered a comprehensive workplace analysis and negotiated a solution that secured one full floor plus 13,000 contiguous square feet, with building owner RXR participating in the build-out and future expansion opportunities. Cresa also negotiated an aggressive below-market rent on an eight-year lease; Collibra moved into the expanded space in Fall 2018, achieving scalable space to support continued U.S. growth.
