The Prairie School achieves 50% energy savings with Cree Lighting

The Prairie School, a K-12 school in Racine, Wisconsin, needed to upgrade the outdoor lighting for its parking lot. The challenge was to find a solution that would maintain the campus's contemporary, Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired design aesthetic while blending into its wooded, rural setting. The school chose to work with vendor Cree Lighting to address this need.

Cree Lighting provided a solution using their low-profile Cree Edge area lights in a bronze finish. This installation from Cree improved the quality of the lighting and significantly reduced maintenance costs. The project also achieved a 50% reduction in energy use, resulting in major cost savings for the school.
