Monroe Elementary School lights a 68,000-square-foot campus with Cree Lighting

Monroe Elementary School, part of the Everett Public School district, sought to build a new, efficient school with a solid infrastructure and first-rate technology. Their challenge was to improve the lighting energy load while providing better quality, flexible lighting for their new two-story building. They turned to Cree Lighting and its LED technology for a solution.

Cree Lighting implemented its fully dimmable LR24 LED troffers throughout the school, including classrooms, the library, offices, and the auditorium. The solution from Cree Lighting created a better learning environment for students and teachers while delivering significant savings in both energy use and maintenance costs for the school.
