Cub Foods becomes Minnesota’s first commercial parking lot lit with LEDs using Cree Lighting

Cub Foods, a grocery store chain, sought to upgrade the lighting in its parking lot at its St. Paul, MN location. The company partnered with vendor Cree Lighting to implement a solution that would support its sustainability goals.

Cree Lighting provided and installed its Edge™ luminaires for the project. As a result, the store's parking lot became the first commercial lot in Minnesota to be illuminated with LED lights. This upgrade also contributed to the location earning a prestigious LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
