Profusion Cosmetics Uses Campaign Monitoring to Validate Influencer Marketing Program ROI

Profusion Cosmetics, a Southern California–born makeup brand selling through major retailers and online, faced a retail-driven brief to drive and measure traffic to partner sites and validate which influencers and product mentions were actually impacting sales. To meet this challenge the brand worked with CreatorIQ, using Campaign Monitoring to track influencer content, filter for mentions of retail partners, and identify which Profusion products were most talked about in earned media.

CreatorIQ’s Campaign Monitoring enabled Profusion to add 1.3k influencers to a holiday campaign, capture 1.3k pieces of content, and use post previews and custom filters to surface top posts and isolate mentions of specific products and retail partners. The effort showed that the most mentioned products were the top sellers in partner stores, contributed over 30% of the brand’s EMV during the season, and helped drive a 355% YoY increase in EMV, a 288% YoY rise in post volume, and a 183% YoY expansion of the influencer community.
