Lindner Center of HOPE raises $50 million with The Creative Department

The Creative Department partnered with the Lindner Center of HOPE (LCOH), a national leader in mental health care, to address the dual challenge of raising $50 million in donations while also combating the stigma surrounding mental illness. The non-profit needed a disruptive campaign to be heard and inspire generous support.

The Creative Department developed an integrated "Silent Epidemic" campaign using powerful storytelling across a 48-page brochure, a dedicated website (ChallengeofHope.org), TV, radio, print, social media, and city murals. The solution successfully started a conversation, breaking the silence and driving significant donations. The brochure alone generated hundreds of thousands of dollars, including a single $250,000 gift. A key video for the annual gala helped raise a record $3.72 million, the largest amount ever from a single non-profit event in Cincinnati.
