Lands’ End Boosts New Customers by 33% YoY

Lands’ End, the U.S. clothing and home décor retailer, needed to re-establish its online presence and drive new customer acquisition across the U.S., U.K. and E.U., with a critical test during the competitive holiday season. Lands’ End engaged Crealytics to lead a paid search marketing effort focused on new customer acquisition (NCA) rather than traditional ROAS-driven optimization.

Crealytics used an email-based ID system and its proprietary technology to map which keywords and products drove NCA, reassign bid and campaign priorities, and boost mobile Shopping Ads where appropriate. The campaign delivered a 33% increase in new customers, a 27% year-over-year revenue lift at similar spend levels, a 2% cost reduction, and a 96% YoY increase in non-brand new customers.
