The automotive manufacturer Gestamp faced challenges with inconsistent data across six different ERP systems, including poor material coding, language barriers, and excessive free-text orders. To prepare for a migration to a single SAP S/4HANA environment, they partnered with Creactives for a master data and spend data harmonization project.

Creactives implemented a centralized governance solution, creating semantic digital twins of materials and spend data to build a unified enterprise data space. This allowed for efficient part search, accurate reporting, and the elimination of duplicates. The results were significant, including over €830,000 in savings within a year, a 30% improvement in material group quality, and a reduction of excess inventory by over €2.6 million.
