A CRB Cunninghams Case Study
Highland Council sought to modernize its school meal services by moving to a cashless system to reduce queuing times, speed up service, and provide anonymity for pupils receiving free meals. To address this, they partnered with vendor CRB Cunninghams to implement a new cashless catering solution, utilizing the National Entitlement Card (NEC).
CRB Cunninghams installed its cashless system across twenty-seven secondary and seventeen primary schools. The solution included point-of-sale tills, pre-order kiosks, and interactive smartboards. This resulted in standardized operations, significantly reduced queues, and a more efficient centralised management system. Highland Council reported that the project successfully met all its objectives, praising CRB Cunninghams for its excellent technical support and responsive help desk.
