Providing a complete tool auditing solution for the London Electric Vehicle Company

The London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC), manufacturer of the iconic 'Black Cab', required a solution to improve its assembly tool torque testing and calibration capabilities. Their existing manual process for data collection and logging was inefficient. Crane Electronics was engaged to provide a bespoke tool auditing solution to address this challenge.

Crane Electronics implemented a custom Mobile Torque Testing Station (MTTS) trolley equipped with transducers, a TorqueStar data collector, and software. This mobile solution significantly reduced calibration time, improved data traceability with printed labels, and provided greater accuracy. The customer reported a substantial improvement in their tool auditing process and high satisfaction with the mobile, all-in-one system provided by Crane Electronics.
