Delivering a complete torque tool calibration process for a global manufacturer of heavy-duty construction equipment

Crane Electronics Group delivered a torque calibration solution for one of the world's largest manufacturers of construction and mining equipment. The customer required a complete system to test and audit their assembly tooling under realistic conditions to guarantee the required torque was being applied to critical fasteners, ensuring the reliability of their heavy-duty vehicles and machinery.

The solution implemented by Crane Electronics was a 1000Nm tJRS joint simulator bench with integrated OMS torque software. This system provided a fully-automated, threaded fastener-based testing process, offering the customer complete traceability of their tool data, repair histories, and calibration schedules from a single station. The customer was delighted with the results, which improved their planning process and significantly reduced production and tool downtime.
