Safe Environment Engineering Integrates Cradlepoint’s Wireless Routers for M2M Connectivity

Safe Environment Engineering (SEE), a leader in hazardous-environment monitoring and incident response, faced the challenge of reliably transmitting real-time instrument and sensor readings from hot zones when traditional communications were unavailable. SEE needed a mobile, secure and interoperable networking backbone to coordinate multiple agencies and external experts; it deployed Cradlepoint routing devices as the core of its Lifeline Interoperable Wireless Monitoring System.

SEE integrated Cradlepoint routers to provide hotspots, primary and failover cellular links, multi-carrier connectivity, GPS and CAP-compliant data sharing via its LINC and Lifeline Gateway components. Cradlepoint’s solution enabled live remote viewing and secure real-time transmission at high-traffic national events (Boston Marathon, Emmys, Grammys) and disaster responses, improving responder coordination and driving broader adoption of SEE’s platform.
