A Cradlepoint Case Study
Mannington Mills Inc., one of the world’s largest flooring manufacturers, needed more reliable, scalable network connectivity as it expanded retail and warehouse locations. Traditional wired/Telco lines were expensive, slow to provision, and left sites vulnerable to outages, so the company evaluated Cradlepoint and its routing devices with integrated 3G/4G for on-demand failover and primary connectivity.
Cradlepoint deployed easy-to-install 3G/4G routers to provide wireless WAN failover and, in some cases, primary connections—allowing Mannington Mills Inc. to open sites faster, eliminate some DSL lines, and restore service the same day after a fiber cut. The Cradlepoint solution reduced costs and dependency on Telcos, simplified scalability for IT, and kept critical warehouse and retail operations online during outages.
