A Cradlepoint Case Study
Basque Soccer Friendly, a nonprofit pop-up retail operation in Boise created to support a charity exhibition match, faced a tight two-month window to sell merchandise and run community events. The organization was given donated Internet access, but the ISP’s consumer-grade router couldn’t handle POS transactions, streaming, in-store music, security cameras, and staff connectivity simultaneously. To ensure secure, continuous POS and guest services, Basque Soccer Friendly engaged Cradlepoint and requested a commercial-grade networking solution.
Cradlepoint deployed an AER2100 with dual modems and managed the environment with NetCloud Manager, enabling parallel networks—one dedicated and failover-ready for POS and another for streaming, TV, and security. The Cradlepoint solution allowed rapid plug-and-play deployment, instant cellular failover to prevent lost sales, secure transaction handling via NetCloud Manager’s security services, and reliable in-store streaming and staff access throughout the two-month pop-up.
