Cradlepoint Enables In-Vehicle Network with Cloud-Delivered Configuration, Monitoring & Management

Vending Trucks, Inc. needed reliable, always-on Internet for its rental and custom promotional vehicles so clients could run live video, digital menus, POS systems and social-media marketing while on the move. The fleet was suffering frequent connectivity drops and Vending Trucks wanted centralized configuration, monitoring and data-use control. They turned to Cradlepoint and its COR Series routers together with Cradlepoint’s NetCloud Manager to address those in-vehicle networking challenges.

Cradlepoint deployed COR Series routers with integrated 4G modems and used NetCloud Manager for cloud-delivered configuration and centralized management, enabling on-the-fly carrier switching, remote WiFi fallback, segmented “air‑gapped” networks for POS security, and support for surveillance and GPS features. As a result, Vending Trucks, Inc. can reliably connect POS terminals, live streams and marketing tablets across multiple cities, remotely manage data and load balancing, reduce service interruptions, and give clients consistent real-time marketing and security capabilities — all delivered through Cradlepoint’s platform.
