Cradlepoint Enables In-Vehicle Network to Serve 11,000+ School Children Each Year

St. David’s Foundation’s Mobile Dental Program operates nine mobile clinics that provide free dental care to Central Texas schoolchildren but struggled with recurring 3G network interruptions and slow speeds that prevented reliable synchronization of sensitive patient records and X‑ray images. The regional provider recommended Cradlepoint, and the Foundation evaluated and deployed Cradlepoint solutions including COR IBR600/IBR1100 routers, NetCloud Manager, and web‑filtering/browsing controls to address these connectivity and management gaps.

Cradlepoint upgraded the fleet to 4G LTE with COR routers, NetCloud Manager, external antennae and content controls, delivering high‑availability connectivity, centralized cloud management, and secure remote monitoring. As a result, database synchronization now completes in an average of two minutes, helpdesk tickets dropped significantly, security cameras and VPNs are more reliable, and the program can consistently support its work serving more than 11,000 children per year.
