A CR2 Case Study
Bank of Sharjah, a corporate bank serving SMEs, UAE-based businesses, and government-related entities, needed a way to meet growing customer demand for convenient electronic banking across multiple channels. The bank wanted to simplify operations so a small internal team could manage all digital channels while also deploying new services quickly and efficiently. CR2’s BankWorld multichannel suite was selected, including Channel Manager, ATM, Internet, Mobile, and CardWorld.
CR2 implemented BankWorld as a single omnichannel platform, enabling Bank of Sharjah to control its internet, mobile, ATM, and card services from one system and integrate with existing NCR ATM hardware and Misys BankMaster core banking. The result was a more efficient, truly multichannel operation with consistent services across channels, less complexity, and the ability to design once and deploy across all channels without third-party intervention. This helped Bank of Sharjah improve customer service, support business clients more effectively, and maintain profitable growth.
