Christus Health Centralizes Managed File Transfer

Christus Health, a large not-for-profit Catholic health system, needed a scalable, HIPAA-compliant managed file transfer solution to replace a labor-intensive, script-heavy process that was hard to troubleshoot and required detailed audit trails. After evaluating options, Christus selected Coviant Software’s Diplomat Transaction Manager Enterprise Edition to centralize and automate secure inbound and outbound file transfers across its geographically dispersed facilities.

Coviant Software implemented Diplomat as the enterprise standard, providing a central console, redundancy across two data centers, and support for OpenPGP, SFTP and FTPS to meet trading-partner and compliance requirements. The result: file volume more than doubled to over 900 secure transfers weekly to 100+ partners, custom scripting needs were reduced, NOC alerts and false positives declined and support can resolve issues faster—improving productivity and ensuring stronger audit and HIPAA compliance.
