A CourseArc Case Study
The Maryland Center for History and Culture, a statewide historical organization, needed to rebrand and shift public perception by becoming a center for active learning and engagement. As part of this effort, they sought to significantly ramp up their educational partnerships and create interactive programming that was easy for educators to use, requiring a solution with strong integration and data tracking capabilities for reporting. They partnered with CourseArc to develop their Historical Investigations Portal.
Using CourseArc's online course authoring tool and its LTI for seamless LMS integration, the Center created engaging historical lessons. This solution enabled them to partner with 19 of Maryland's 24 school districts. CourseArc's platform also provided effective tracking, which helped demonstrate massive growth: student usage increased by over 25,000%, reaching 13,612 students who have accessed over 440,000 pages of content since the program's inception.
