Coca Cola Belgium partnered with Coupontools to execute a phygital marketing campaign. The challenge was to enhance the consumer experience by bridging physical product purchases with a digital engagement, specifically a scratch and win game, to drive interaction and coupon redemption.
Coupontools provided a platform that generated unique QR codes for printed flyers. When scanned, these codes allowed customers to play a digital game with a 50% win chance. Winners could immediately use or save their digital coupons, which were then easily validated at point-of-sale. This solution was highly effective, resulting in a campaign where 86% of winning coupons were claimed and 60% were ultimately redeemed.
