Case Study: Save the Children gains control of global cash flow with Coupa Treasury

A Coupa Software Case Study

Save the Children manages 90% of bank statements in Coupa Treasury

Save the Children, a global non-profit organization, required better control over its cash flow across its many local entities to ensure adequate funds were available centrally during humanitarian crises. The organization faced a lack of financial visibility due to having no standard reporting or payment process for its over 120 banking partners in more than 60 countries, which resulted in time-consuming manual data collection and inaccurate liquidity reporting. To address this challenge, they turned to Coupa Software for a solution using Coupa Treasury and Cash Management.

Coupa implemented its treasury solution, integrated with StoneX Payhub, to standardize processes and bring all financial data into a single platform. This provided Save the Children with a central, real-time database for its global cash flow. The results were significant, achieving 90% visibility into its 500 global accounts with statements reporting directly into Coupa Treasury. The solution also standardized the payment approval process, linking local entities to the central system. This gave the organization the control and visibility it needed to effectively manage its funds and respond to crises.
