This Fortune 500 global freight and logistics company — a top-10 worldwide provider with ~50,000 customers and operations across supply chain, truckload, LTL, last-mile, intermodal and global forwarding — faced a complex challenge: migrate and consolidate an acquired legacy Coupa instance while multiple ERPs (Oracle and SAP) and a corporate initiative to move to Oracle Cloud threatened to phase Coupa out. The project required aligning on a single global design, minimizing deviations as new business units were onboarded, and decommissioning legacy systems.

Coupa led a four-phased, 16-month global implementation (including a Phase 2 “lift-and-shift” of the legacy instance), integrated with two Oracle and one SAP ERP and third-party invoice/receipt tools, and hosted the customer at Inspire to build alignment.
