Beach Energy, a leading mid‑cap Australian oil and gas explorer and producer, tripled in size after major acquisitions in 2016–2017 and faced fragmented systems, limited spend visibility, poor controls and supply‑chain pressures (exacerbated by COVID‑19). These challenges threatened its aggressive acquisition synergy targets and made it difficult for sites to manage inventory, contracts and purchasing consistently.

Beach deployed Coupa’s Business Spend Management platform (including CLM) in three months to centralize procure‑to‑pay, contract and inventory processes, giving site‑level visibility and one source of truth.
