Anna’s Linens, a multichannel home-fashions retailer with 260 locations, lacked visibility into store traffic and therefore couldn’t measure the effectiveness of advertising or staff stores for peak selling times. To fill that gap the company evaluated vendors and selected CountWise’s I-Count video-based traffic counting solution to capture shopper counts and traffic patterns across its stores.

CountWise’s I-Count uses multi-zone, bi-directional video analytics to distinguish adults, children and carts and exports counts for reporting and labor planning. By aligning staffing and training with traffic data from I-Count, Anna’s Linens reallocated staffing to peak periods, improved associate training focus, and achieved a 10% improvement in conversion rate while identifying varied traffic patterns (previously assumed peak 3–6 p.m.) across its locations.
