How Countfire takes the stress out of completing estimates, with CBMC Lighting Solutions

CBMC Lighting Solutions, a lighting design and installation company based in Indianapolis, was looking for a faster, more reliable way to handle takeoffs and estimating. After using Stack and Planswift and finding they didn’t deliver the speed and functionality they needed, the team turned to Countfire to reduce manual work and ease the pressure of tight deadlines.

Countfire was implemented across the company and helped CBMC Lighting Solutions automate symbol recognition and multi-drawing counting, improving both speed and accuracy. Project coordinator Josh Thurman said the team now finishes jobs up to a day or two ahead of schedule, saves around 15 minutes per project, and avoids costly missed symbols that could otherwise lose them thousands of dollars. Countfire’s training and support were also described as world-class.
