A Count Case Study
Otrium, an Amsterdam-based fashion marketplace, leveraged the data collaboration platform Count to overcome significant analytical challenges. Their data teams struggled with slow, inefficient workflows, such as manually opening hundreds of product image URLs to provide context for stakeholders and spending days deciphering complex dbt models. This process hindered their ability to quickly develop accurate pricing and recommendation models in collaboration with the wider business.
The solution was implemented using Count’s canvas, which allows for the integration of dynamic data queries with visual elements like images. This enabled the Otrium team to display product visuals directly within their analysis, drastically speeding up the process. Count also allowed them to break down complex dbt models into understandable components. As a result, the team reduced a process of checking 70 image tabs down to one and cut the time to understand data models from days to minutes. Count fostered a more agile workflow, allowing for continuous stakeholder feedback and leading to better models being developed in a fraction of the time.
