A Co:tunity Case Study
Dairy company Arla faced the challenge of generating new product ideas for a rapidly growing and competitive category, referred to as Product X. They needed to kick-start an open-innovation strategy and foster better engagement between their internal R&D and marketing teams, as well as with consumers. To tackle this, they partnered with the vendor Co:tunity.
Co:tunity implemented a solution that engaged 1,000 consumers over ten days to share consumption patterns and concrete ideas, which were then voted on and analyzed by Arla's experts. This initiative generated massive engagement with over 3,700 applicants and 1,000 active participants, who contributed 1,097 suggestions that were mapped into 48 new concept ideas. The program also successfully established a new pattern for internal collaboration.
