EPFL Center for Imaging launches Imaging Plaza with Coteries in 2022

The EPFL Center for Imaging, in collaboration with the Swiss Data Science Center, faced a challenge in improving communication and the sharing of existing work between various research laboratories in the field of imaging sciences. They partnered with the web agency Coteries to develop a solution for this lack of collaboration.

Coteries developed the Imaging Plaza web application, an online catalogue featuring an ontology-based search system to navigate imaging software. The solution, created through design workshops, includes a dashboard for contributors to add and share projects. This initiative provided a transformative leap for the Swiss research community, significantly amplifying the accessibility, innovation, and reliability of collaboration in imaging sciences.
