Life is Good, a brand dedicated to spreading optimism, wanted a Gratitude Wall to collect and display user-generated “sticky note” thanksgivings on its site. To build this interactive board they adapted the Cosmic Sticky Notes App (React, Redux, Node.js), hosting the app on Heroku and iframing it into their WordPress landing page to accept, store and present UGC in real time.

Cosmic supplied the scaffolding that let Life is Good launch an MVP quickly and focus internal effort on UX and design rather than content management; the team added a simple moderation app plus client-side banned-word checks to control submissions. With Cosmic’s tools and support, Life is Good built the Gratitude Wall in “a matter of hours,” enabled real-time display and streamlined moderation, and plans to reuse the solution for future projects.
