ArchitectNow Builds a Vendor Search Engine

ArchitectNow, a custom software development firm in St. Louis, built a mortgage industry vendor search engine for VendorSurf and faced the need to let the client manage specific dynamic content without creating another custom pseudo‑CMS. To meet that requirement, ArchitectNow leveraged Cosmic as the content platform.

Using Cosmic’s JavaScript library and REST APIs, ArchitectNow integrated content management into their Angular front end and VendorSurf’s .NET/Azure back end, enabling both browser- and server-side workflows. Cosmic gave VendorSurf the ability to self-manage dynamic content, streamlined editorial workflows, and accelerated delivery by avoiding a bespoke CMS—an approach ArchitectNow plans to reuse for future projects.
