Southern Glazer's scales Corvus Robotics across 9 distribution centers, reallocated 60 to 70 labor hours per week

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, a major beverage distributor, faced challenges with inventory accuracy due to manual quarterly counts in their reserve storage. These infrequent checks created long blind spots, leading to discrepancies being discovered during picking, which risked customer fill rates. Labor was also heavily consumed by manual counting. They partnered with vendor Corvus Robotics to implement the Corvus One autonomous inventory management system.

The solution involved deploying over 40 Corvus One drones across nine distribution centers. These autonomous drones perform continuous, biweekly scans of palletized inventory without disrupting operations. The results for Southern Glazer's were significant: inventory visibility increased 6x, cases per hour improved by 100 basis points, and 60-70 labor hours per week per site were reallocated to higher-value tasks. Corvus Robotics enabled proactive issue detection and created a consistent performance baseline across the network.
