Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, a 5,000-employee international doughnut and coffee house chain headquartered in Winston‑Salem, NC, faced a manual, paper‑based hiring process that made it difficult to identify hospitality-focused, high‑performing candidates and scale recruiting efficiently. Corvirtus implemented online applications, shortened the employment form, and introduced assessments through Hiring Tracker, which surfaced higher‑caliber candidates and improved screening outcomes (including background checks and drug screenings). The move from paper to online applications produced an average of 80,000 online applications per year, and since rolling out the solution in 2011, 11 franchises have adopted the process—demonstrating measurable volume and quality gains driven by Corvirtus.
