Wendys needed to keep 1,280 company-owned restaurants running at peak levels while justifying a costly 92-person in-house technician team. The challenge was gaining real-time visibility into work-order activity, technician productivity and vendor performance so management could fairly evaluate staff, control costs and decide when outsourcing made sense. To meet this need Wendys deployed Corrigo’s work-order solution on handheld devices and its web-based Work Order Network.

Using Corrigo, Wendys tracked work-order receipt, response and completion times, labor and materials in real time and generated monthly technician scorecards (20 metrics, eight key metrics used for ranking). Corrigo’s data let supervisors benchmark 92 technicians nationally, tie scores to performance reviews and raises, boost productivity (one technician cut average store visits from 13.31 to 10.38 per week), increase transparency and enable vendor benchmarking — demonstrating that Corrigo delivered measurable operational insight and cost-control benefits.
