MeYouandUS worked with Corporation Pop on Fantasia Express, an augmented reality app for train journeys. Their challenge was to create an engaging prototype that could bring landmarks and stories to life both inside a moving train carriage and when viewing locations outside the train from within the carriage.

Corporation Pop built a custom AR and locative media solution from scratch, using visual odometry, gyroscope-based motion estimation, sensor fusion, and Kalman Filters to keep the experience stable on a moving train. The result was a prototype demonstrator that entertained passengers, supported learning, enabled photos, and gave MeYouandUS a compelling product to pitch to rail partners in the UK and beyond, helping showcase commercial potential for future experiences.
