Channel 4, one of the UK’s most innovative public service broadcasters, partnered with Corporation Pop to create engaging digital experiences that could extend TV content into web, social and connected-TV formats. The challenge was to make programmes more interactive, data-rich and second-screen friendly, while supporting Channel 4’s reputation for innovation.

Corporation Pop delivered a series of projects including a Ramadan microsite, a 3D Grand Designs connected-TV app, Twitter Tracker for live social sentiment, and a Paralympic Games companion app with live feeds, catch-up video and athlete information. These solutions helped Channel 4 deepen viewer engagement, showcase innovation, and were notable enough that the Grand Designs prototype was cited in a report to the House of Lords Communications Committee.
