OBOS, Norway’s largest housing developer with around 2,700 employees, struggled with inefficient project portfolio management as stakeholders tracked tasks and risks in disparate ways (notes, spreadsheets, separate tools), leaving critical project information unavailable in real time. To address this, OBOS implemented Corporater’s Business Management Platform, using modules for Enterprise Performance Management, Operational Risk Management, and Project & Portfolio Management.
Corporater unified OBOS’s portfolios, aggregating initiatives, milestones, comments and risks into a single real-time view so stakeholders and management can trigger timely actions. The implementation reduced the resources needed to manage projects, cut time spent on data entry and report creation, improved operational risk control and meeting effectiveness, and provided a stronger basis for ESG and audit reporting — enabling faster, better-informed decisions across regions.
