Smarter rates and travel technology drive new efficiencies for Topcon Positioning Systems

Topcon Positioning Systems, a global technology company, sought to achieve greater savings and efficiency in its travel program for over 1,200 employees. Partnering with Corporate Traveller, the company aimed to consolidate its worldwide travel activity, improve compliance, and leverage value-added services to reinvest savings into other growth areas.

Corporate Traveller implemented its TravelSMART programs, including SmartSTAY and SmartFLY, providing discounted rates and complimentary amenities that Topcon could not achieve on its own. They also supported the global rollout of the Concur online booking and expense management platform. This solution provided greater visibility, streamlined approvals, and improved compliance. As a result, Corporate Traveller helped Topcon increase its travel program savings from 3.2% in 2017 to 10% in the first half of 2019, while also enhancing traveler satisfaction and safety.
