AEW Capital Management, L.P. is a real estate investment advisory firm that manages billions in capital across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Corporate Technologies implemented a web-based SAP/BusinessObjects and BusinessObjects Web Intelligence solution that pulled data directly from AEW’s consolidated corporate database and provided self-service reporting and analysis. The platform also supported complex financial calculations such as IRR reporting and included knowledge transfer for ongoing maintenance. As a result, AEW reduced report development and distribution effort, saving the equivalent of 1.5 full-time employees working three weeks in Excel, while giving employees faster access to real-time data and improving efficiency and productivity.
