Tucson Electric Power Achieves Inspection Success Using Cority

Tucson Electric Power (TEP) faced complex, highly regulated environmental requirements across its generation stations and needed a systematic software solution to replace paper-based processes and prevent compliance gaps. After evaluating options, TEP selected Cority’s EHS software—leveraging Permit Management and EMS capabilities—to automate tasks, alarm triggers and environmental program workflows.

Cority’s web-based platform was deployed at two generation stations to manage media programs, permits and plans, data collection and inspections, eliminating the need for paperwork, improving documentation and streamlining processes. The Cority implementation enabled faster, more transparent inspections (inspectors often now require only a cursory walk-down), simplified Excel-based reporting, and has led TEP to roll out Cority’s Permit Management and plan to expand Cority to all generation stations.
