NASA Implemented Cority to Amalgamate Health Records in a Centralized Repository

NASA’s Langley Research Center needed a secure, compliant electronic health records system to centralize occupational health data and meet state and federal privacy requirements. After evaluating options, NASA selected Cority’s advanced occupational health solution (Occupational Health & Industrial Hygiene modules) to address data security, program management, and agency-wide recordkeeping needs.

Cority implemented a centrally managed repository with multi-level access controls, record portability between centers, and industrial hygiene capabilities for equipment inventories, surveys and lab tracking. The rollout began at Stennis; more than 3,000 patient visits were entered and staff were reported 100% onboard, with the system deployed agency-wide by the end of 2012. Cority’s solution improved data security, streamlined program administration, and enabled proactive compliance notifications and better exposure monitoring.
