Koch Industries, including affiliates Flint Hills Resources (FHR) and Koch Ag & Energy Solutions (KAES), faced fragmented EHS data, heavy reliance on Excel spreadsheets, and poor cross‑group communication that made calculations and compliance reporting slow and error‑prone. To address this, they deployed multiple Cority solutions (compliance calendaring, environmental, health and safety) to centralize data and standardize workflows across affiliates.

Cority implemented a collaborative compliance system with automated integrations (pulling operational data from the PI System into Cority and linking to Power BI), rolled out new and improved calculation builds (10+ for FHR, 6+ for KAES), and automated compliance reporting and metrics. The initiative reduced monthly data entry from 40 hours to 2 hours (a 38‑hour reduction), supported ~350 end users, increased power‑user adoption and IT/EHS collaboration, and delivered clearer executive visibility and more accurate, automated reporting.
