How Onsite OHS Switched to Electronic Health Records with the Help of Cority

Onsite OHS, which runs medical clinics supporting U.S. and NATO troops and contractors in Afghanistan and manages care for roughly 20,000 patients across multiple sites, needed to go paperless and implement electronic medical records that could work with limited connectivity, support off‑site backups, and automate medical surveillance for exposure groups (e.g., lead and respiratory protection). To meet these requirements they selected Cority’s occupational/health cloud solution for its flexibility and configurable workflows.

Cority implemented robust medical surveillance groups, automated notifications for due tests and vaccines, and integrated laboratory and device data feeds to eliminate manual entry for hundreds of patient visits per day. Cority’s Business Intelligence and reporting capabilities enabled automated and custom reports, saving time and paper and—once historical records are fully migrated—projected to save hundreds of man‑hours per week and hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of dollars annually. Cority’s implementation team also configured features like double sign‑off to meet Onsite OHS’s regulatory needs.
