How Edmonton Police Reduced Incidents by up to 65%

Edmonton Police Services, the municipal police force for the City of Edmonton, faced inefficient, paper-based incident reporting with manual data entry, duplicate WCB paperwork, and time-consuming back-and-forth investigations. To modernize their processes they expanded their use of Cority—moving from Cority’s OH solution to implement Cority’s Safety solution (Cority Safety Cloud) to better track and report incidents.

Cority delivered an integrated Safety solution with business rules, dashboards and OH–Safety integration that reduced duplicate data entry, streamlined investigations and prompted deeper root-cause analysis. The result: improved report quality, faster case handling and measurable safety gains—several EPS divisions reported incident reductions ranging from about 15% up to 65%—while administrative time and rework were significantly reduced.
